Just wondering if you have similar descriptions for Heritage breeds: those that are in danger of extinction, or are birds that the "chicken industry " considered not productive enough but are much better birds than say, the Leghorn. I, too, prefer brown eggs. Never had a green egg! (green eggs & ham!) Funny, my parents wouldn’t eat the wonderful brown farm eggs I gave them: they wanted white!
